We offer this solution to major customers and internet service providers.

We can specifically configure your server to work in a hotspot controller mode. A server-based controller can handle up to 1,000 visitors and allow up to 1 Gbps of traffic. It also has enough capacity to implement shaping. In addition, the server collects detailed statistics on http protocol (pages visited on sites), as well as all other statistics using the netflow protocol for all ports and protocols. With an ordinary router, you can’t gather such information.

The hotspot controller is installed on a Debian system (preferably) or Ubuntu. Recommended configuration:  Pentium Dual-Core processor, 4GB RAM, 100GB HDD, 2×1000 Mbps network adapter. Minimum configuration: 1 core, 1GB RAM, 10GB HDD, 2×1000 Mbps network adapter.

The hotspot controller includes:

  • Chillispot controller – configured to work with WiFi System;
  • Netflow collector – to collect detailed statistics;
  • Squid – to reduce volume of traffic and collect http statistics;
  • Firewall – to protect your server.

Installation cost: $100.
